When using window blinds with pull cords, we are not always able to distinguish which cord to pull. Smart Rope provides a solution by replacing a regular cord with a string of little cones pointing towards a certain direction as prompts.

Window blinds and shades are manually controlled by pull cords. However, people are often not able to tell which cord to pull in order to lift up or pull down the blinds. As such, Smart Ropes was designed to provide directional prompts. On Smart Ropes, a string of small cones (their size chosen for grip and comfort) replaces a regular cord. When this new cord is bent, these small cones will align in two directions. As one pulls pull the cord, it appears as two ropes with directional prompts. It then becomes clear which part of the cord to pull.
