This Portable Rescue Backpack is designed as a lightweight rescue bag system that can be used to carry a victim, relief items, or both when disaster strikes. It is a rescue tool that lightens the load and frees up the hands of rescue workers.

When a disaster strikes in mountainous areas, rugged terrains sometimes obstruct vehicles from entering the disaster zones. Therefore, victims can only be rescued by rescue workers on foot. Existing rescue equipment is usually heavy and complex, thereby consuming too much of the workers’ energy. Portable Rescue Backpack – a lightweight rescue bag – comes in useful in this situation to reduce the overall rescue load.
The backpack can be used to transport relief items or used as a tool to carry the victims on the back, thus freeing up the hands of rescue workers. This backpack has an in-built carrying system with two flat aluminium pieces to transfer the weight of the carrying load to the waist and hips. The backpack can also be used by individuals who are not professional rescuers if they are participating in the rescue work.
