When large-scale disasters occur, it is often followed by a situation of delayed medical resources, and the inability to transport the injured to a hospital in a short time. This directly results in huge numbers of victims waiting for help at the scene. To address this issue, FACLASS utilises the concept of wearable devices and patient classification, which is usually used in hospitals. 

Through a real-time monitoring of physiological indices, FACLASS optimises the usage of limited medical resources by classifying the patients into dangerous, emergent and non-emergent, and distributes medical resources through this system. This helps the first batch of medical personnel grasp the conditions of the scene quickly and handle injuries promptly. It also allows help that arrive later use the accompanying application to follow up with the situation.
