The Changeable Climbing Wall is a new type of product with a surface that can be changed by using an application (APP). The user can select the desired level of difficulty by configuring the characteristics of the surface to increase the level of challenge.

Traditional indoor climbing walls are mostly fixed, which can lose its challenge after a long period of repeated attempts. The Changeable Climbing Wall is a new type of product with a surface that can be changed by using an APP, and as such, removes the familiarity of the wall and increase the level of challenge. At the same time, the route can be recorded and stored with each climb to compare with former records.
To execute the idea, the wall is composed of modular units, some in fan-shaped units and some as regular square units. Together, the units move differently to alter the characteristics of the wall. The fan-shaped units can be freely rotated at different angles, while the square-shaped units can be extended outwards at various degrees.
The Changeable Climbing Wall is connected and synchronised with the APP, which can also be used to modify the characteristics of the wall. The simple mode has a flat surface where all the modular units are flushed against the wall. In the ordinary mode, the fan-shaped units are rotated to increase the difficulty. In the difficult mode, all the square-shaped units extend outwards to different degrees, from the bottom to the top, and the fan-shaped units are rotated at arbitrary angles. The wall becomes a complex slope, suited for challengers with more experience.
