Air Conditioner Whale

Air Conditioner Whale is an equipment that collects and re-filters the water produced from the air conditioner. The recycled water is used to spray mists that accelerate the cooling of temperature in a room that had just turned on the air conditioner, which can vastly reduce the electricity consumption of a ‘fast cooling’ function.

Air conditioners consume vast amounts of electricity, releasing more carbon dioxide, which contributes to the acceleration of global warming and in turn forms a vicious cycle for air conditioning needs. Air conditioners also produce a lot of water through dehumidification and condensation of the air internally. As a matter of fact, this water is relatively clean and getting rid of it is wasteful.

Adopting a simple design theory where ‘one gramme of mist being evaporated naturally can reduce 539 Kcal’, Air Conditioner Whale is an equipment that collects and re-filters the water produced from the air conditioner. The water is used to spray mists to cool down the temperature in a room that had just turned on the air conditioner, which would vastly reduce the electric consumption. Air Conditioner Whale also detects the humidity of the space and sprays a mist at intervals to maintain a comfortable humidity.
