What are the fees for participation?

There are 3 types of fees:

1. Submission Fee is the registration fee for each of the design concept that you submit to the award.
2. Presentation Fee is the fee for final judging where your work will be printed and presented to the jury who debate and decide. This fee is only applicable when your design concept passes the prejudging or if you submit to the award late, bypassing prejudging.
3. Winner Services Fee is the fee for all the marketing services that you will enjoy as a winner of the Red Dot Design Award. In addition to the lifetime use of the winner’s label, the certificates, trophy and awarding ceremony, this fee allows us to:

a. design, produce and distribute the award yearbook and yearbook App that features you and your awarding winning design concept.
b. present your winning design concept online for a year
c. design, produce and exhibit your winning design concept at the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore
d. have a professional communication team garner for features and report in mass media worldwide.

Why are there fees?
The Red Dot Award: Design Concept is an independent and professionally organised design award. The funds collected allows the award to be organised at the highest professional level and to achieve financial independence, without sponsorship from companies that could participate in the competition or could have a motive for influencing the results. The award is also independent geographically as it is not sponsored by any government or design association. The award also funds and operates a large design museum in Singapore that is dedicated to present the award winning designs to the public and industry.

Do you accept payment in other currencies?
We only accept payment in Singapore Dollars (SGD).


After making payment

 

How do I know if you received my payment?
Through credit card – When you receive a transaction confirmation email from our service provider, it means your payment was successful. You may also verify with your bank if the amount has been charged. We will contact you if any issue arises.

Through Alipay – You will receive a transaction confirmation email from our service provider, it means that the transaction was successful. You may also verify with your Alipay account if the amount has been deducted. We will contact you if any issue arises.
 
I need an official invoice/receipt.
