How to explain your design concept
1. Present your design concept in the form of drawings and renderings.
2. Provide a description of the work into the presentation with the images, including how the product works and its use-scenario.
3. Focus on the novelty of the design concept.
4. If you submit before 14 May 2011, you may use English, German, Mandarin, or Korean to explain your concept. If you submit between 14 May to 12 July 2011, you may only present in English.
5. Decide an appropriate category for your design concept. See categories of design concept.
How to prepare your presentation
1. The presentation must not be more than 5 pages.
2. Each page should be A3 size (Height 42 cm by Width 29.7 cm) in portrait orientation.
3. Each page should be prepared as a single file.
4. The file must be in JPEG format and not be more than 2MB in size.
5. The page number and the total number of pages should be indicated on each board.
6. Do not display company logo / designer’s name. |

How to submit your concept online
1. Click on “submit your design concept for the award”.
2. Indicate the language used to present your concept.
3. Select the appropriate entrant category.
4. Provide important contact details.
5. Fill in entry information such as concept title, category, and date of creation.
6. Upload relevant file(s).
7. You may submit another entry, or proceed to payment.
8. Get ready your credit card if you would like to pay online with a credit card. Alternatively, you may pay via Western Union (or Bank transfer if you are a Company/ Design Studio/ Institution).
9. You will receive a confirmation email at the end of submission.
10. Each submission form allows up to 9 entries. If you have more than 9 works, please repeat Step 1 to 9 for the remaining works. |
