Beriscope

Beriscope is a remote-controlled underwater camera that allows people to marvel at the world beneath the surface without the need for wetsuits or oxygen masks.

It is fascinating to look at the underwater environment of the sea, and it’s no surprise that many people enjoy scuba-diving and snorkelling. Beriscope allows those who prefer to stay dry to immerse themselves in an underwater “fantasy.”

Beriscope is easy to use. The camera is thrown into the water as though you were casting a line from a fishing rod. The camera and line are both rubber-coated for protection form knocks. The rope winds when pulled, like pulling a motorcycle handle, and controlling the speed is also possible. Winding or unwinding of the rope does not required electrical powers, as it uses a spring principle (as does a vacuum cleaner cord or a tape measure). Holes allow for the easy drainage of water.
