Buoyancy-Road is a buoyant lane separator that emerges when water or snow obscures a road’s lane markings.

When it’s raining or snowing, the central lane markings on the road become indistinguishable, which causes traffic congestion. Severe traffic accidents may occur.
Buoyancy-Road is a buoyant lane separator. If the road is covered with water or snow over the height of the traffic lane, Buoyancy-Road emerges due to its buoyant quality. This enables drivers to recognise the position of the lane markings. The system can also be manually activated in the case of a temporary lane reversal.
