Swift Stroller

Swift Stroller is a jogger-style stroller with modern aesthetics. It aims to assist parents by simplifying the unfolding and collapsing of strollers into one effortless step with the aid of gravity and natural physics.

Most strollers on the market today require numerous motions to fold and lock. Many times, the unfolding and collapsing operations require the user to exert strength to press the parts together, maintaining the weight of the stroller, and users are placed in awkward positions that may lead to stress or injury. The stroller is a mobile vessel for parents to share intimate moments with their child, and the operation of the stroller should not get in the way of this experience.

Trends show that an increasing number of young adults have been acquiring a more active lifestyle. Sales of jogger-style strollers have been increasing over the years as more parents want to engage in jogging and walking with their child.

The Swift Stroller takes the jogger platform and reworks the folding operation which utilises a unique, single step for both the unfolding and collapsing of the stroller. The parts of the skeletal structure of the stroller actually slide into and out of each other with the aid of gravity and natural physics

To unfold the stroller, the user pulls up on the handle bar and the wheels will part themselves as the handlebar passes the pivot point of the legs. The wheels will drop into the open position. To close, the user pulls up on the retraction bar, which will roll the wheels together. Once they are aligned, the handlebar structure will drop back over the legs and lock the stroller back into a closed position.
