What would we see if we were to cut open our products? This query was the starting point for the design of HIDLAMP.

HIDLAMP has bright and charming exterior, but also an exuberant inner structure. A dark blue acrylic shell conceals the inner world of this lamp until it is lit. As though it has been X-rayed, the lamp’s internal structure is revealed when its central CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent lamp) is switched on. Within the blue shell, layers of transparent acrylic are arranged in a cross formation. They are etched by laser, which creates the appearance of a three-dimensional internal framework.
