Ivy Light

The cords that dangle from electric lamps often cause frustration and concern about tripping. The Ivy Light uses its cord as its body. It can grow up the wall like an ivy plant.

The stiffened cord of the Ivy Light can be bent to any form imagined by the user. The cord contains strong yet lightweight craft wire, which is separated from the electrical wires by rubber. The stiffness allows the light to climb the wall or crawl over furniture. The user can transform the Ivy Light into any configuration to suit their changing needs.

The lamp head can be rotated 180 degrees. It can thus be used as a direct or indirect light source. When used as a desk lamp, for example, the Ivy Light can be positioned above the desktop without consuming any space on the desk. The angle of the light can be easily altered. In the bedroom, the Ivy Light could be readily transformed from a reading light to an ambient light.
