Dial

Mixing cutting-edge technology with references to the products of times gone by, dial (phone) is a mobile phone that can be worn on the wrist. It invokes memories of old-fashioned dial phones.

With the ongoing development of technology, mobile phones are becoming smaller and smaller. dial (phone) has been designed as a fashion accessory. Its shape was derived from the dial phones of times past, and the conjuring of nostalgic feelings was an intention of the designer.

dial (phone) is worn around the wrist like a bangle, and can play the role of an accessory that represents the wearer’s tastes. It can be fitted with a range of different finishing materials and it can thus represent different looks – luxurious, sporty, or elegant, for example.

The phone is operated by turning the dial. During use, projected light beams provide guidance by indicating different characters. These can be read by removing the phone from the wrist and placing it on the palm of the hand or on any flat surface. The upper part of the dial responds to the user’s touch, and pressing the notch related to a particular number facilitates dialing.
