A collection of flowerpots can take up a significant amount of space in a room. Rotating Pot allows two plants to be contained in a single pot that can be hung in mid-air, leaving floor and shelf space free for other objects.

The Rotating Pot column is divided into two sections, each of which contains a sponge fixed in place by wire and a cap. The pot rotates around a central axis in order to balance its centre of gravity. Adding water to one side of the pot increases its weight, causing it to rotate to the bottom position. If one of the plants becomes too dry, it will rise to the top position indicating its need for water.
