It provides warmth, can demarcate a personal space, and store items, and it is lightweight and portable. It is made with DuPont Tyvek (a synthetic material created with high-density polyethylene fibers), felt, and a heat sheet, and is thus waterproof, comfortable, and able to retain body heat.

Home Sweet Street can be unzipped to form a blanket or folded to make a shoulder bag. The length of the jacket can be adjusted to suit different weather conditions using snap-together fasteners.
