Home Sweet Street

Home Sweet Street is a multiple-function garment that has been specifically designed for the use of those livings on the streets.

The lives of homeless people can be especially difficult during winter. Home Sweet Street is a combined jacket, blanket, and bag. It provides warmth, can demarcate a personal space, and store items, and it is lightweight and portable. It is made with DuPont Tyvek (a synthetic material created with high-density polyethylene fibers), felt, and a heat sheet, and is thus waterproof, comfortable, and able to retain body heat.

Home Sweet Street can be unzipped to form a blanket or folded to make a shoulder bag. The length of the jacket can be adjusted to suit different weather conditions using snap-together fasteners.
