Theme parks and balloons go hand-in-hand. The Walking Balloon gives them a practical as well as joyful purpose.

The Walking Balloon is a balloon that helps with way-finding at theme parks. Walking Balloon” adopts “Heliodisplay”, an air projection system, invented by Chad Dyne, that projects interactive images on a wall formed by air. The air projection system is placed in the “Walking Balloon” to form the images on the balloon.

At the end of the balloon’s string is a ring upon which users can enter the number of every spot within the theme park that they would like to visit. The balloon illustrates the direction the user needs to travel with an arrow, and also inclines itself in that direction. At the same time, the balloon makes a reservation for every spot the visitor wishes to attend. Furthermore, it shows the waiting time for each venue so the visitor can make the best use of their day. The easy- to-use technology is suitable for all ages, and can make a big difference to a how one enjoys a day at the theme park. The balloons can be easily exchanged as they do not require names or other details to be entered. Theme parks are places of carefree happiness and balloons are a wonderful representation of this.
