Recycling Bath Sink stores the clean water that is wasted at basins for later use. Though undoubtedly useful at home, this collection and storage system would also be effective in commercial and public bathrooms.
Due to serious water contamination and climate change, unlimited water supply is no longer guaranteed. Eight countries are currently described by the United Nations as water-scarce, and twenty countries as water-stressed. Protecting sources of water is important, but just as important is the efficient use of limited water supplies. However, people often waste water without even recognising it. For example, many people leave the tap turned on when they lather soap on their hands or
dispense toothpaste from the tube. Most of us waste a significant amount of water when we let the cold water flow while waiting for hot water at the basin.
Recycling Bath Sink has been designed to collect clean water that is wasted in the manners described above. When the water flows from the tap, the lid covering the drain connected to the water storage tank recognises
the consistent water pressure and opens. The clean water flows into the tank. When you put your hands under the water, its pressure is dispersed. This will cause the lid to close and the water will flow down the normal drainpipe. The tank walls are made with semi-transparent
material, so it is easy to see how full it is.When there is a sufficient amount of water stored, it can be used for various purposes, such as watering plants or cleaning the bathroom.
