Combining potted plants with the external
walls of buildings, wall-pot presents an
integrated facade solution.
Presenting a building’s public face, and
imparting a sense of identity, the facade is regarded as an extremely important component of the built environment.
The
wall-pot concept stemmed from the idea of
integrating nature with the facade of a building
in a style that mimics nature – much like the
way moss appears in the cracks on a rock.
wall-pot was designed to contain nature within
the crevices of a facade. A design method that can be applied to different construction processes, wall-pot has been conceptualised
as an integral aspect of the facade – one that
is beyond mere decoration or wall finish. |
