With solar cells like sunflower petals, this
outdoor induction cooker avoids the dangers
associated with gas.
Gas burners are generally used for outdoor
cooking. However, a shortcoming of gas
burners is their possibility of explosion. The
Sunfl ower is an effi cient solar-powered
induction cooker. Solar cells are unfolded
like a sunflower to acquire and condense
solar energy. This energy is used to charge a
battery that powers the cooker. It can thus be
used even in cloudy or shaded contexts, or at
night. The solar cells fold back up for storage. |
