With a fresh conception of the plug and jack
relationship, Led By One Line: Headphones
make it possible for friends to share music
played on a personal music player.
Music is an important component of many
people’s lives. However, it may be difficult to
share music with others via personal music
players in public. This is mainly due to the
availability of standard headsets that do not
allow for more than one person to hear the
music at one time.
The design of Led By One Line: Headphones
stems from the relationship between the headset’s plug and jack. The jack is designed
with an extension to enable a second headset
to be attached to it.
The second headset‘s jack is similarly
designed to enable a third headset to be attached, and so on. This system of connection makes it possible for the user to share their music with many friends. Each set of headphones comes with its own volume control, which allows each listener to control the volume individually. This device not only provides users with the freedom to use personal music players in more ways; it also promotes communication, sharing and
convenience.
